congrats everyone!
I kinda want to buy the Carr book out of interest. A friend of mine gave up after reading it too
On 3rd April It will have been a year of nonsmoking for me! (well except for 1 drunken night in England at my sisters
)

You have proved to yourself that you can do it now. So the next time will be even easier.
How much have you saved now - or have you spent it on something lovely??

Typical that when I have spare cash something happens and I have a bill to pay
Cigs are about $11 per packet, and I would smoke one pack a day. So I have saved $11 x 29 - or $319
im the bad apple here

Don't worry - it took me 6 months of cutting down before I gave up for good. Went from 40 a day to 10 a day and from full fat to low fat, (low tar). Then I gave up and it wasn't such a wrench.
What a bummer. That sort of thing always happens to me too. Never mind, you are still better off as you would have to have paid the dentist anyway.

I can buy one on finance for $79 a week though.

It's called 'the easy way to stop smoking' and you should be able to find the book in any large book store. http://books.google.com.au/books?id=...r-navigational http://www.allencarr.com.au/

It's been a part of my life for so long now that it really is just habit of lighting a fag whenever I am bored.
