Looks like someone else has come to the same conclusion I have - Salmond doesn't really want independence, he wants devo-max. Real independence is hard, with nasty issues. Can he and Cameron stitch something up between themselves; Cameron gets rid of the scottish MPs, Salmond gets his little fiefdom to rule over? |

NEVER EVER HAPPEN
Reason : Labour will never ever get back into power south of the border without the scotish MP's giving them the extra seats 41 Labour MPs currently sit from North of the border compared to 1 for the conservatives! Best thing that can happen for labour is that scotish MP's are restricted to voting on Scotish issues only and not allowed to vote on England and Wales issues like they are now. Best thing that can happen for the Conservatives (and England) full scotish independance! |

Scots lead Britain's male beauty boom
Forget "Southern softie" stereotypes. The number of men paying for beauty treatments has jumped by two thirds over the past year as Scots head for the sunbed. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/n...auty-boom.html I reckon the Scottish metrosexual industry will eventually replace the revenues from north sea oil. |
