As it happens, I have been to one football game in my life. And I was pretty much dragged to that. It was Scotland V Italy. The crowd were singing "We hate England" pretty much the whole time. I was puzzled. At one point, I even shouted "They're not even playing England". Got a few funny looks at that. But I'm guessing you were talking about a Football crowd. I won't even begin to defend them. Anyone that tries to turn a simple game into an excuse for violence is not my kind of person. |
