I'm still oscillating between angry and disappointed that SciFi have declined to pick up Blood and Chrome - the trailer looks awesome, and it seems to be taking SciFi back to where it should be - not all of these drivelous human relationship angles.

I loved Galactica, so yes, I agree. Couldn't get into Caprica.
The last half of the season was really good, particularly the epilogue of things to come, but the first half was dull, and just seemed to drift around with no real direction. Again, not enough emphasis on the sci-fi aspects of it all, and far too much on people screwing each other over. It will be a while before I watch it again I think... S |

Potential good show "Last Resort" I think. About nuclear submarine going rogue and becoming its own nuclear nation. Around soon I think. Looked at Revolution and first thought was Amazulu's observation - perfect hair and teeth without power. The writing looked passé and tedious as well.

Yeah not good reviews so far for Revolution, some reckon it's too 'teen' so I'm not going to waste my time downloading.

That description probably nails it. I doubt I'll look at it any more. I did however watch a 1978 Galactica yesterday :D That's how desperate I am for decent stuff right now.
That's not desperate - that's cool! I met Richard Hatch at Dragon*Con this year - he came to a party I was at, and we ended up drinking, along with James Callis, Jamie Bamber and Michael Trucco. That was certainly a very interesting evening! S |

This was also being heavily promoted in the US too. It does look very good. I'm going to torrent and watch I think... S |
