We're off to see Prometheus - a lot of reviews aren't rating it, but that could be down to all the hype it's had. It's got to be better than Alien V Predator though. Or even the last 'proper' Alien film.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Alien vs. Predator is a very different kind of wrong to Alien Resurrection. Watching it is like watching Jessica Biel take a shower, if Jessica Biel was your cousin: it may be wrong, but it's just too awesome to turn away.

Thought MiB3 was ok, nothing major. Would be happy if no one ever made another 3D movie to be honest. Agree with Dreamy about Josh Brolin, but thought it was all a bit too Will Smith iykwim.

Your grandkids will probably want to know what a 2D movie looks like. Be prepared! :hehe:

Their mothers can explain that. They hate 3D as much as I do. :D I'll be the one to explain that Black and White TV and movies didn't actually mean that there was no colour in the world.

Heaven forbid that anybody makes any new Sci-fi from decent books. The contemporary approach seems to be to remake or reboot existing films and shows.

I can't see in 3D as only one eye works properly, so those movies are a waste of time for me. Haven't been to the cinema for years either due to vision problems and an inability to stand the nauseating stench of other people eating popcorn fries and hot dogs.

I saw it last night. They blew what looks like a big budget and produced something between mediocre and rubbish. I want my cheap Tuesday money back.

Maybe, but do they really need to be remaking movies like Robocop and Total Recall? These were great the first time around and don't need re-imagining. And how many ******* re-makes of Spiderman do we really need?

Lets dig out some decent sci-fi works and make new films instead of re-hashing existing ones.

I saw that episode (they fast track Graham to one of the main channels here) - he was very, very funny.

Sadly I missed that one, but I'm hoping I also missed the Katy Perry/Cheryl Cole episode :fingerscrossed:
