Re: The Rugby Union Thread
I feel very sorry for my FIFO brothers this weekend, for the most part Aussies and Kiwis, the governors have made Sunday the 1st an RDO, which is a jolly nice thing to do. On the flip side however, the camps Foxtel subscription runs out and is not being renewed oooonnnnn, the 31st at midnight. Bastards

Re: The Rugby Union Thread
GEM has been live. I've been watching a bit of both GEM and Foxtel, depending which commentators they roll out. Can't see them changing the live bit for the final.

Re: The Rugby Union Thread
looks like there'll be some happy campers then, got my ozzy and kiwi tops at the ready, but will probably sleep through it. Caused lots of upset in the England Aus game by changing into my Wallabies top with 5 mins to go, people get so angry :)

Re: The Rugby Union Thread
I'm locked and loaded on the Wallabies. Its going to be a very tough ask for a win but stranger things have happened in World Cups.
Plenty of pubs open for the game and its where the atmosphere will be. Now how to either : a) drink from early evening through to 5am b) have an evening sleep, wake up, and start drinking about midnight. Never done that before. |

I definitely think this is the better option to plan A). Best to relay and plan for a late nap, charge those batteries, and then kick start the party from midnight. A lot of people go out and only start partying from 10-11pm onwards so this wouldn't be much different - and you'd actually get some sleep in beforehand which normally wouldn't be the case. Still sounds like a very reasonable scanario and plan, better than trying to last until 5am when you've started drinking 10 hours earlier.... |

Re: The Rugby Union Thread
Well done to the AB's. Too strong at general play, too strong at scoring points, too shrewd with the ref.
What a team and well deserved. |
Re: The Rugby Union Thread
Well done All Blacks. Too strong.
