Re: Rugby World Cup 2015 Poll
This world cup is throwing up some interesting results which mean that the groups are more unpredicatable.

Re: The Rugby Union Thread
A reverse of 2000-2003 (short-lived!) or thereabouts when SA caused England little trouble. It all started in the autumn of 00 with that win in SA, and Nov 00 when England beat Australia at Twickers - setting in place a whole run of southern-hemisphere defeats leading up to the world Cup.
Those days of 2000-2003 now seem like distant memories. It still makes me laugh how people bang on about Johnny Wilkinson(and his kicks) but forget all the players like Dawson, Greenwood, Hill, Dallygo, Back and Johnson (even Mike Catt lol - I always thought it was fitting that he kicked the ball into touch in 2003 ending his own little comeback after being in the team in the mid 90s) who were the backbone of the team and the fact that England broke 6n try records over those years.
To this day we miss Greenwood in the centres. Possibly the best centre we're missing in 20 years. Better than Guscott and Carling, who had their own contribution.

hmmm..if England did beat Australia, (and they could do it), the *2* bonus (count 'em) points might come in handy - lol, especially if Australia beat Wales.

Well that was funny. Even better watching it in England.
To be fair though, not the result Australia needed. That draw was looking good for a few minutes. That would have been perfect.
England will be hard to beat next week. Would have much preferred them to get an easy win over Wales then drop the guard for the next one.

England though will throw everything they have into that game, so it is life or death. That will be the concern for Oz.

Re: Rugby World Cup 2015 Poll
For all you England supporters feeling a little down after the weekend, as a Wallaby supporter, I'm very nervous about this weekend. As I said before, I think I may had preferred England to win. This article sums up what England could do this weekend. Very very worried over here
