The shop up the road from me stocks some real British chocolate. These include double deckers, fingers of fudge, milky ways, Fry's chocolate cream, Ripple... Only thing is you have to check the sell-by date as some have already expired.

Bring me a wispa and you'll be my mate for ever, I've got a serious craving now. I can get UK chocolate Aeros in Pick n Pay, and I've just bought a mountain of Raisin Yorkies and Frys Choc Cream at Chermside, but I'd kill for a Wispa......!!!!
Soemthing else you might want to take over is Violet Crumble, you can't get that in the UK either

I have posted about chucklit on here last year (see above). My family brought over some UK choc so we had a bit of a taste test. UK Versus Aus Cadbury's.
To me Aus chocolate tastes like milky, sugary lard. There's a real cocoa taste to UK versions of Twirl, Cadbury Diary Milk, Galaxy/Dove that just isn't there in Aus Chocolate.
We could argue all night long about the ingredients of Aus and Uk Chocolate (and we have) but to me, the UK stuff is better.
i'm quite partial to a Cherry Ripe though.

Can't say I like the chocolate here too much. Lindt and Galaxy were my indulgence on a rainy day in the UK......however........have any of you tried Coles own brand????? It is made in Belgium for Coles and in my opinion it is absolutely superb! I have tried the milk chocolate, the mint and the fruit and nut and they all are divine (particulary the milk chocolate). The secret is out though because the shelves are always close to empty.

I read somewhere that Cadbury is closing its Australian factory, don't think we'll be getting the UK product though, think it will be made in another nearby country.
