Why?
Oh, and just for the record. This thread was for 'Pet hates on BE' not 'Pet hates in The Barbie'. |

Plus... in my defense sometimes I really don't have anything better to do that day! |

This.
It is happening far more frequently recently, and killing off threads where people are asking for genuine information. The mods do a fantastic job on these boards, but I feel this is something that could be tightened up on. If a thread is seriously going way off-topic there needs to be a bid of admin control. |

OK, fair enough if its an issue with all of BE, but as far as the Barbie goes I thought it was the place for rambling idiots to just go off on blather on about everything and anything.

But the Barbie, by BE's own definition, is an 'off-topic chat forum'.
Is it, or is it not, so? My own opinion as a poster, not a moderator, is that it's annoying when every thread is hijacked by the same group of people saying the same things. However, if I don't like what's being posted I don't have to read or participate. Now, as a moderator, so long as there are no rules being broken and nobody's reporting abuse then chat away in the Barbie. |
