I am now definitely a loner... Went to the emigrate2 show today and despite being told a different answer by each different agent it was all that my boyfriend of 6 months would have to find his own way in, which we knew already but a miracle would have been nice! :(

He's only just starting out in a career in drafting with no degree so we're going to have to stick it out until he can get a job offer.

Not sure how i feel about turning 32 :huh:

I know if i dont meet that 'special lady' in the next few years then my chances are very slim. Its not high on my list away.

6 years of my 20's with relationships. Im happy now compared to then anyway.

Where did my 20's go...:ohmy::huh::D

One said he could come over on my 457 as soon as we hit our 1st anniversary as we could count the time apart as forced by the visa not choice, as long as we opened a bank account together. Another said we must be living together for a total of 12 months ad must wait til I've got PR. They all basically just said get married!

The single life certainly would be simpler but I want it all! :wub:

Turning 25 - you're on the wrong side of your 20's then mate! On the plus sides, you're one year closer to retiring and those car insurance folk are less inclined to charge you the earth. :)

I think after 27/28 age never bothered me.

Its just a number.

As for being a loner...

The first year living on my own after i split from a long term girlfriend were a bit unsettled but after that it dont bother me now.

All good training for Australia :p
