I did that too. I thought I'd fail the skills assessment, the police check, the IELTS test (twice) and the medicals. Its weird the way these things run through you're mind for no reason at all. I really dont know why I thought I'd fail the police check as I've done nothing wrong... ever.

I'm still trying to find the best deal (& work out if I can be bothered to ship anything over) as I'd like a stopover to break up the distance. Spoke to qantas today but they only allow the 40kg allowance if you book one of their 'special' £700 + taxes ONE WAY migrant fares! Freshwater - yeah that's basically north manly I think. Trying to hunt down something close to the cbd, short term for the first month or so to give me a chance to look around before commiting to a longer rent. Nice dilemmas to have though... |
