You're right about cutbacks but never know in Feb/March - things will certainly be clearer one way or the other.

I reckoned toy story as it goes...sure that came before big daddy. Anyway...

It is a tricky for a lot people mate, not that that will make you feel any better. I'm still hunting as are other loners and others I've met. Tough times.

Scratch that I'm talking b0llocks - just looked it up and there's no scuba steve in toy story. Must've been tripping.

They are. Split up with my gf and techinically homeless now as well (let eh lease expire on my house) so been a shit few weeks but I'm still grateful I've got a decent job here and plenty of plan B options.

I've now got a case officer, but she wanted evidence of my employment from my employers. Not sure what they have provided is sufficient. I hope it doesn't stuff it up. I finish my job in a week and do need a temp job but will be gutted if I don't get a visa.

Hey, been a bit of a stranger on here. Been reading the posts. Feel a bit annoyed I'm not heading for Sydney, as that seems to be where the party's at!! :rofl:

10 days until I fly out to Adelaide. I suppose I best try and arrange the shippers to drop off some boxes so I can start to pack!! I've left everything to the last minute, and hope it's all sorted before I get on xmas day.
