Margaret Thatcher is dead

Or more realistically, put her behind the fence at the houses of parliament - they are responsible for her, they can have to look at her every day; as a warning of how being a witch gets you so hated they have to hide your statue away even after you're dead.

What a great idea.
Ken Loach has suggested that the UK privatises the funeral of Margaret Thatcher.

I think ex PMs deserve a proper State funeral especially if they were more than a one term, or one-hit wonder.
We had London in 2012, why not Thacher in 2013...to stir the masses...

Quite right. Then her spoilt brat son could not determine the guest list. Poor form not inviting Argentina. Thirty years later and Argentina is a democracy should be enough water under the bridge. Turning down the invite would then look back on Argentina.
It is a stain on Britain Mark Thatcher keeps his dads title despite him being banned from the US and other countries for crimes he was convicted of.

She didn't want a fly past on the grounds of cost so can we infer that perhaps she was ok with the rest of it!

A paupers grave should suffice for that woman. Even that's too good.

There was a thread about the desecration of soldiers graves recently with the general consensus being that it was a despicable act. Just a shame that even in death one can't be left to rest in peace these days.

I was thinking about that, I can't see a burial in Grantham as the oiks that make up the dross of society will only desecrate a headstone.
