It seems not everybody was that impressed by the amount of time dedicated to his passing.

"BBC receives 1,350 complaints about 'excessive' coverage of Mandela's death"

You quoted the Daily Mail

Now some people will discredit the newspaper and the fact Mandela has even died

Several friends on FB were concerned that, rather than concentrate on the number of people being evacuated thanks to the extreme weather parts of the UK was suffering, and perhaps passing on safety warnings, they preferred to repeat the same footage of people mourning in Soweto.

Obviously, I have no idea whether the concerns were valid.

Silly me, fancy me quoting the 'wrong' newspaper.

Well for those who determine who they are, by what paper they are prepared to look at, its in the Independent as well.... and its even on the BBC. :)

Well as it was going to be the biggest storm surge in 60 years they were probably very valid.

I meant whether the concerns about the amount of coverage the BBC was giving to it were valid (you knew that though, didn't you :P)

I know at least 2 of them made complaints and neither of them read The Daily Mail.
