Ok I get it

Same problem with Yorkshire puds here, we were blaming the shite oven that for now we have to co-exist with.

Wifey used to make brill toad in the hole in London but here it's double terrible. Double because the sausages here are foul too.

the secret to decent yorkshire puds here in Oz, (if you cant get hold of "European" flour) is to double or treble the amount of eggs used in the recipe...

Then same as... Hot oven etc....

Not wisdom, just remembering that cookery is a science subject and not one of the arts thats all..

Now that I think of it yorkshire puds are always the first casualty for migrated Brits. Cakes and things are mostly no problem.

Are the snags in oz. when I need to be sick after a skinfull and a curry I think of aussie snags...I flow with ease,
