Lots in Canberra, many here... they must be elsewhere too. And yes, they're imported.

the noise wood pidgeons make

radiators in houses

the colour green that only seems to exist in the UK countryside - presumably because of the rain

grass that is soft to walk on, not the thick and hard stuff evolved to resist sun damage and drought

syccamore trees - I'm sure they are here, I just havent seen any.

Villages with lots of character, riddled with history.

cheap flights

and castles

that'll do for starters

Men in suits who catch your eye on the bus/tube
Squirrels and foxes
Blokes shouting 'Standaaard'
Glynebourne, Royal Opera House, Covent Garden and the feeling you are at the centre of something.

My mate. No not the spread. :sneaky:

A bit of an oo err moment but the husband said the other day 'do you remember Fig Rolls, I could murder one right now'. After I stopped dry retching we moved on to more important stuff. Two days later I was in a Woolies I don't often go in and bugger me, there on the shelf was a packet of Fig Rolls. One of the girls is giving them to him for fathers day. :D

Funny I was looking at one that was hopping about the garden this morning but it looked like it was just a black bird. And it was very mute.

...But I could be wrong

We have one of those annoying badly fitted sliding doors between the living room, kitchen, etc and the bedrooms. I say badly fitted because every time it's opened and closed it sounds like a sadistic school teacher screeching her finger nails across the blackboard. But at least its a little easier to keep warm.
