It's highly likely that the 1K or so MV fans in Adelaide are going to March alongside the Active Adelaide fans to the ground as a show of solidarity against the bad press coverage. That'll freak the cops out LOL....

Adelaide suggested it, and everyone likes the idea.

Bet it doesn't get a scrap of coverage.

BTW if anyone is even slightly interested in the A league.... tonight is one of the best games to introduce yourself to the local code.... Adelaide Utd v Melbourne Victory at 7.30 pm on Fox sports.

That dirty stuff worked.... They got away with it, just inside the rules of the game. I Took the philosophical approach and put my outsiders hat on, and came to the healthy conclusion, that for a first time viewer that would have been a pretty decent game to watch.

I suppose the best thing out of it, the Finals series is now a dead set 4 way race.

true, but it wasn't consistent. There were far worse tackles than Traore's from Adelaide in that first half.

No wonder there are suspicions of match fixing in our comp when you have amazingly inconsistent decisions going on from refs all the time.

The ref performance during our home game with Central Coast a few eeks back was a shocker, the worst I have seen all season. You had to wonder what was going on, even the CCM manager had to conceed they were very lucky. And as it turns out that game could decide who finishes top what with WSW running second.

We play CCM in a few weeks at their place and we should only look back to that game for all the motivation we need.

Yeah, I remember watching that game thinking your boys were robbed. How they didn't give McBreen offside for that last goal is beyond belief!

The best (or worst) ref stuff up of the year though goes to the Sydney penalty v Phoenix a few weeks back. I was truly speechless when that was awarded!

There are confirmed numbers of 1K WSW supporters coming to Melbourne for this game tomorrow.... I've been told that radio reports have suggested 2K turinng up. Which would make this the largest contingent of interstate travelling supporters for a home and away fixture of any code in this country. Got to admit to being slightly peeved about that... as travelling support is usually MV's bag.

2K is large numbers even in UK terms.... especially when its a 550 mile each way trip.

Our booze cruise with 150 pissed up SE Members (lots of UK members in amongst that) will drop us of almost slap bang in the middle of them at around 6PM tomrrow, close to their grouping up and Marching time...Near Flinders St, The WSW fans will very likely be in the pubs at and around Young and Jacksons. Most of the Victory fans will be in and around Swan st over in Richmond... far closer to the ground.

All I can hope for is that it's football that gets the main headlines on the day. Should be a great game, especially for the viewer at home. MV have to win to stand a chance of a automatic home final.

I guess the up side is if MV draw or lose, will be able to better the 2K travelling support at an away final later in the year.

Again obsessed with attendance numbers Very Geordiesque.

WSW won't cause any bother, but if Victory fans come looking for it then they will find some. Some CCM fans fronted up after a game a month or so back, they soon **** themselves and ran away before any bother.

WSW fans don't look for bother but will more then stand their ground if confronted.

My prediction -

MV 3 - 1 WSW

I would take a draw right now.

And regards attendance figures., if there was ever a WSW V East Sydney FC grand final at ANZ I really believe that there could be 80,000 there EASY.

Capsicum spray at both sides of Paramatta railway station in a organised pincer movement says differently to the MV fans on the return platform to Central.

But there you go.

Just another one of those things, which in hindsight isnt as bad as it first appears, that I'm glad the press didn't get hold of.

There is more trouble at the Tennis and Cricket than anywhere in the A league.

Right it's booze cruise time AKA Parra on the Yarra..... We're just off to the city now. Will switch past Young and Jacksons and or Federation square on the way in and get some photos of the WSW clan if possible and post on here in a couple of hours.

Otherwise catch you later.... be sure to watch anyone that is half interested... see if you can get hooked in.

Should be a great day for the football.

Found out the boat will be dropping us up near the stadium at Rod Laver Arena on police orders.

Two really exciting games coming up.... Adelaide away, our favourite away fixture and then the booze cruise and putting WSW back in their place. Pity the WSW game isnt at Docklands as it would be good to overawe them with real support in front of 40K plus people.

As it is, it will probably be a sell out at Swan st with 26K. Wish I was going to Adelaide next week dammit.

Wasn't pretty football yesterday, infact if luck had gone Melbourne Hearts way the could have one. Still thats how championship teams keep succeeding..... riding their luck.

Hope MV get into Asia... got a chance to see a team I support in person overseas. I can feel a trip to Thailand coming on

HAHAHA You sure put us in our place. 2nd in the league

Still, the attendance figure looked good, he will be happy with that Although I notice that they didn't sell out.
