We had to give up our Firearms licence in the UK and once the Firearms arrived in WA they were to be detained by the police until we had a Licence for them here in WA.
But as you know they never left the UK shores. The Firearms were never found.
We never got a rebate either from Crown.
I cant believe it - that is disgusting. What did the police say about firearms being stolen and how on earth did Crown justify it? Surely they must have had to answer to someone?

Crown removals - if you are reading this, you want to do some criminal checks on your staff because it appears that one or two of them are thieving gits - God no way would I recommend them to anyone.

Well last night I spoke to PSS and explained (very politly) what had happened. I asked the guy hat if the keyboard was still there could they please put it on a flight for me.

ANSWER from PSS......... ~No we will just give you our insurance company details.

ME ....... So are you saying that you dont think you will find it

PSS....... Nah

ME ........ So are you saying it has been stolen

PSS........ Not saying that but dont think we will find it..here is the insurance company number.

UNFEEKING BELIEVABLE ....now I am really pi**ed off.:curse::curse:

PSS are supposed to be emailing my son in the next couple of days....after they have made there inquiries and the insurance company is supposed to be emailing me a claim form.....let see if we get either.

I will not let go of this...I can be a real nasty piece of work when I or my family get ripped off (just ask my son) so.......

I do believe that you should change the title of this thread so that PSS appears.

Therefore anyone doing Google searches on PSS might come across this thread.

It gives us an extra edge when confronting them, saying that we're able to bad-mouth their reputation.

Just sent them an email, although apparently they never reply to this account, and will just have to wait till monday. Have found a public phone to call them from, one that's away from any residential housing, allowing me to shout if needed.

I'm already in Victoria, a member of the SSAA and fully licensed in both Handguns and Rifles You're going to love it when you get here. Some great ranges.
Already looking forward to it!! How did you find licensing? was it relatively easy or is it as stringent as it is in the UK? , mainly FAC stuff that I'm bringing over. My other goodies are in the States and Kenya following the ban/ buy back here.I hope to import these someday too.

Licensing was straight forward, but ordered. Once I got my SSAA and club membership the Handgun license was relatively straight forward. It was made substantially harder due to lack of qualified references in Australia, but some security/police references from the UK helped with that (and yes they did contact them). Local and International Police clearances in Australia were made easier because they already had access to the checks from the UK through the immigration process. My long arms license was approved off the back of the Handgun license without question.

My only concern as a veteran shooter is the rather pathetic Long Arms safety course, the Handgun course was an MBA in comparison. General Handgun course was Theory and Practical (clearance drills, breakdown, handling, recovery, range awareness, etc, the usual), 98% pass (never found out what I lost 2% on).

The Long Arms test was theory only, 100% pass. Very little on ballistics, penetrative awareness and field of fire. It was mainly aimed at Bogans not shooting each other while out hunting drunk. As this course was aimed at hunters too, I was staggered there was nothing in there about "ethical hunting" (always disliked that term, mind you always disliked hunting). I guess us competitive IPSC/Action handgunners are a more intelligent focused class of individual

After many calls to PSS in the UK we were informed last night that the missing keyboard had been located.

Apparently, it was missed off from the original shipment, then located and sent on another container which is due to arrive on the 11th September.

When I asked why no one had informed us that it has been missed off they replied that they did not know.:curse:

I received an email from them today stating that they are going to pay for the shipping off the keyboard, the custom checks and delivery to Anthony. All off this we had already paid for still...

Lets see if it manages to arrive in September

Reassuring to know PPS think so highly of their employees, their first reaction is to say they'll never recover it - not! Sounds hopeful now. Hope it does turn up, for their sakes
