I know this isn't food but I really like the fact that the sky is very clear there at night (low light and other polution) allowing the stars to shine brightly.

Vitawheat 'natural' rice crackers. They're yum but lots of things are smothered in butter and vegemite

Thank you for taking the risk of being unfashionable with a positive post.
I find most things about the same, but:
Rainwater...that's free and tastes good.
Aldi do a mineral water for 62 cents for 1.25 litres.
Jindi do a really crumbly cheddar type cheese. It's in an opaque yellow plastic "skin".
I like Milo, but you need to use all milk and lots of milo.
Black and Gold Low Fat Vanilla Flavour icecream is actually very good.
Most of the (chocolate) Turkish Delights, regardless of brand are very good.
I find that pork here tastes very sweet.
A whole range of wine from $7.00 a box to $50.00 a bottle. All fantastic.
Barramundi (salt water), Blue Eye, Flathead, Blue Whiting, Shark and Prawns are all good too.
My Aussie wife is a good cook - that helps!!
However, we need to remember that it's a huge country and things vary from place to place.

Funny that. I live about 30k from Port Kembla steelworks. The area has possibly the worse light polution issues I have ever seen.

I agree, I eat far too much red meat now.
Timtams, like penguins but better.
Thins crisps
Aussie Cottage cheese with the cream in. Although I like the UK style as well, it's just something different.
Wife has gained a taste for Roo meat but she would anything that once had a pulse.

How bizarre....
there is nothing I really miss from the UK...and there is nothing I really would miss from Australia..
I do quite like Salt and Pepper squid...and a Chicken Parmie.
Can't remember if these are on the menu in the Yookay...
