Taking our (very soon to be) 10 year old to see Linkin Park & Metallica to the Soundwave Festival in Feb.
My aim in the very near future is to see Madness and The Cure

Anyone else think the Blondie tour tickets are a bit steep for a trip down memory lane?
It'd be a good trip... but sheesh...
(Nothing like as bad as the upcoming Stones UK gigs though.)

Rick Astley is coming to Twin Towns in November. $70!!!!!!!! Seriously, hearing Never Gonna Give You Up can not be worth $70 of anyone's money, can it?
As for £400+ to see RS, nah, sorry, not worth it, not now.

Deep Purple, and Journey, 26th Feb
Wish Steve Perry was singing, but I love both bands anyway.
Kiss, and Thin Lizzy, 12th March
Again, shame its not a "new" Thin Lizzy, saw them in 1982 in Brighton, they were amazing, but should still be a good night

Current lineup according to the website is - Scott Gorham, Brian Downey and Darren Wharton (all of whom played in Thin Lizzy with Phil Lynott) the stellar lineup is completed by Damon Johnson (guitar), Bassist Marco Mendoza (Whitesnake, Ted Nugent) and The Almighty's Ricky Warwick on vocals and guitar.
I agree its not the same without Phil, same as Journey without Steve Perry's voice, but I need some serious rock & headbanging action so it has to be done! Plus I like both headline bands, Deep Purple & Kiss :thumbsup;

Agreed, just not right. And whilst I hated Michael Hutchence, the idea of INXS without him is also very wrong.
