I saw Ross Noble a few years ago - the first half I thought he was very funny, but he seemed to lose it a bit towards the end, not funny at all.
I really liked Alan Davies, also Dara O'Briain was brilliant.

I've seen Ross Noble and Jack Dee, and I'd say Jack Dee was much funnier. Ross Noble seems to be getting less and less funny?

It's not Brisbane, or even QLD, but I've just booked tickets (and accommodation, to make a day/night of it) for the Hoodoo Gurus at Twin Towns.
Not the most hip of bands (or venues) but I like them, good melodic Aussie pop.

Bizarrely I saw them at Glastonbury a few years back. They played on the "Other Stage". They were first band of the day and it was quite strange, being in the front row (there was only about 100 people) watching quite a rocky band, with a bacon and egg role in one hand and a coffee in the other.
Stones headlining next year if Keef can stay out of trees ...

I was talking to a mate back in the U.K that offered us a couple of VIP passes. I'm very tempted. One of his official photo's of Billy was used by a couple of Aussie newspapers so I sent him copies for his scrapbook lol
