Seriously, i may be bored witless barricaded in me bedroom, but i aint suicidal yet...
One thing I have learned... Which brick walls to bang my head against... And imposing world wide vegetarianism aint one of them...
What you going to do to enforce it? Shoot anyone caught with a pork chop?

The government gave enough of a toss to clobber the obvious polluters with a CO2 tax, yet strangely left the equally polluting cattle farmers alone.
Much like the way that they devised a super profits tax on mining, but not on the banks, despite both presenting 'super profits'
Don't either of those things strike you as odd?

They arent going to hit banks in the pocket, they need to keep em sweet to regulate the economy...
They arent going to hit cattle farmers.. Not enough profit in them and political suicide in this country...
Sounds like politics to me

I think it was in the film JFK, when the character played by Donald Sutherland says about whenever a political decision is made - ask yourself the question - 'who's going to benefit?' - that will point you in the direction of where the policy emanated. That is politics, but it is annoying when they think we don't know what is going on.
Yes, the level of contempt the average government has for its populace is usually much more obvious than they realise.
Going to have to duck out of this now, as I still haven't applied a lick of paint to my walls - but just wanted to say that I have enjoyed debating this today - reminded me of the BE of old...

Hmmmm.... Learning humilty, self control, the goldeness of silence, tongue biting, to love my own company, the pointlessness of war, to turn the other cheek.... To keep the noise down and lock the door when we want a quickie...
