I have a giant herpe on my top lip and I wrecked my manicure putting my seatbelt on to come home. First time I've had a cold sore in about 3 years, so not a happy camper. It hurts

Went to the doc because the unbearable prickling is getting worse, and she thinks I have lichen sclerosus- bloody immune system. Isn't MS, eczema/psoriasis, gluten intolerance and Reynaud's enough? Anyway she took swabs, which was painful as the skin is broken, and has referred me to a dermatologist. So I phone up for an appointment. After a 20 min wait and two transfers, I get told that there are no appointments this year and to phone back in November for an appointment next year.
Meanwhile, back on the steroid creams. Let's hope I don't get them mixed up as I also have several for my scalp and eyes.

Rasen and Sparky, thanks for the commiserations. I'll get some ointment on it tonight and hopefully it won't last long. I think it came up because I bought a new brand of lippy. I only ever get them if I change lipstick.
