They are all gods creatures and should be respected as such, I would not harm your pet dog or cat I was simply making the comparison.

Just been out with the 2 wood, did the nine toad course in just under 10 mins ;)
Played the full 18 friday night took over an hour way over par especially after the rain.

Think your comments would be quite valid Superstar if it wasn't for the fact that the cane toads are running around poisoning or eating all the local wildlife and the pets not to mention blinding the odd human.

Like Dagboy states it would be interesting to know if pre cane toad I would have seen an ozzy frog. We have a big billabong near us and all I get is toads.

Must admit I was slow to take up the Aussie practice of toad destruction but now our pet is in daily danger I have decided to stop being a wuss.

Just to expand on this topic a tad. (scuse the pun) does anyone actually know anyone who has lost a pet or know someone who has been blinded through cane toad poison? I mean actually know them not some second hand passed on story from your uncles second wife's brother in laws mate.
I don't know anyone who has.
To be fair we live in (Very close to) the city and maybe we dont have the problem some of you bush bashers may have...We are lucky to see a cane toad once a month if that and then it is only after dark on wet nights...My kids are tucked up in bed so unlikely to meet a "threatening" toad..We do not have pets that go outdoors as cats are supposed to be kept in anyway to stop them eating the same wildlife that the toads are after ;)
