To be honest I don't really give a toss what anyone thinks about the fact that I'm a million miles away or not ..... the fact remains that as usual if you don't agree with the majority you get jumped on .... not that I give a toss about that either ... but if you had read what I'd actually said I agreed that they are pests and pointed out that they should be disposed of the way you are told too as the golf club method could cause unnecessary suffering AND could be more dangerous to the person doing the clubbing !!! Anyway this is getting very boring now :zzz: ;) |

Anyway this is getting very boring now :zzz: ;) One way to dispose of them is to freeze them and the other (depending on experience - and this is the key with regards to clubbing them) is to give them a blow to the head. A golf club will (if used correctly mind you), I'm sure, cause a swift and painless death. My views and opinions were in now way meant to be personal or critical. They are my views and my views alone. Everything I commented on was based upon observations, recommendations and common-sense and were completely objective and not subjective. I'm sorry if you took offence. I didn't mean to cause any. |

This is mainly because I don't give a toss either way :) Cane toads are the least of my problems right now, maybe in the next year or so I may get an opinion who knows. Also, I think that it is very true that people who are actually living with this problem are far better qualified and experienced to call judgement on how to get rid of the pest than someone who is living 12,000 miles away in a relatively pest-free zone and who has no actual experience of the problems that the toad can cause.

Just read Shark Frenzy on Aus Coast and have just had a brain wave do the cane toads not kill the sharks as well so if all unwanted cane toads thrown into water solves both problems.
