That could be tricky, they're all in the wash, and I can't work out how to turn the machine on, being a bit on the dim side. Wonder if I could borrow one off Bernie, he's good with that sort of thing.

Went to Koh Phangan for the first time in the early 80s. When the boat dropped us off on Had Rin beach everybody on the beach was bollock naked. The beach was very beautiful in an idylic bay and no buildings were visible from the beach. There were actually only a couple of rustic bamboo huts to stay in and we ended up just camping on the beach.
Even Samui was pretty basic at that time. No hotels only bamboo bungalows. No airport. I have been back many times over the years and am always amazed at how the places have changed. Not trying to be smug and say it was better back then it's just how the world has changed.
