I think Vodka Red Bull is the least of your worries.
They had a blast though, they said there were lots of Aussie guys hitting British lads just for fun  But on the whole it was good, especially somewhere called Mushroom Mountain :D |

I went to one of these in the mid '90s. It was okay and I had a blast but I've been to better parties. There are a lot of wankers there. It was pretty relaxed and I can't see it is any worse (or better depending on your viewpoint) than what goes on in the west.

I suppose I thought there just might be people less dim than you,, who had not heard of these dangerous parties and would find it useful information in safeguarding their kids against the dangers in Koh Samui/Phanghan.
Basically, in spite of your rather snide remarks ,I was trying to be helpful. If you've got any other useful tips for safeguarding our kids against dangers in Koh samui, or the villages of Afghanistan - please let us know. Do you have any travel tips for central america ? My 18yr old Swedish cousin Erica is about to go backpacking there, alone, for 6months. cheers |

Never mind all that...what if they're planning a night out in the Valley!? :scaredhair:
There are some places on earth that you just don't want to visit. Mogadishu. Kandahar. The Valley on a friday night. But there are a handful of places that even an islamic somali militant wouldn't visit..... yes, I'm talking about hindley street, Adelaide. |
