You see more than is there. No one is showing anger because you've pointed something out to us. Most people are simply irritated by someone who feels the need to wander around various forums, posting links, seemingly irrelevant and then disappearing. Just because no one else has started a thread on a subject doesn't mean that the majority of people are not aware of it. There are no threads on breathing as far as I'm aware but you'll find we all know how to do it.

You seem to think you're getting a rise out of people, you're not, sorry.

Hadn't noticed it?

More like noticed it & thought what a complete non story.

Not sure why anyone would bother regurgitating it here?

I did not insult anybody, if you look at P's avatar you will notice she calls herself "Dim" .
Go down to the beach at Burton Bradstock and immerse your toes, which is fun if you are with a dog.

Gemma, I fail to see how calling someone dim is not considered an insult. I have looked at Polly's avatar and can't see anywhere where she has referred to herself as dim.
You also insinuated that she would not have time to do things as she posts on here so much, which is why I pointed out her mod status.

I don't think it's my post that was silly.

PS, Tis a bit cold for paddling at this time of year, but I will definitely consider that in the summer.

Over the years I have had a variety of insults thrown at me on this forum, some funnier than others, and some meant in a nastier way than others. However until you came up with the word "dim" that particular word had never been slung at me. I used it as part of my title for approx 24 hours - as I have done in the past with other similarly laughable epithets.

If you had been referring to anyone but myself I would have asked you to refrain from using personal insults, as per BE rules.

I had also noticed that you used the word 'dim' in your avatar title; you have now said for only 24 hrs. But I would agree that if you yourself included it in your title, calling you "dim " was hardly an insult:)

I've also used several other words in my title over the years, some of which were far far worse, and which had been thrown at me on here. As I said, if the word had been levelled at any other poster the way it was at me I would have asked for the personal insults to drop.
As it was levelled at me, and I'm used to it, I treated it differently.

Now as you're in Thailand it seems, maybe you'd like to tell us whether you have experienced these strange parties, which I am allegedly too dim to know about?
