And there was me thinking that a full moon party was one where you end up skinny dipping and diving for pennies...

Hmmm maybe I should have turned my speakers on. LOL...

Just music on the clip... where does it mention the death penalty... I thought that was for possession rather than taking drugs ?

Bit of a quantam leap mentioning the death penalty

I went over fifteen years ago. Lots of idiots getting blasted on stuff they have no idea about. I had a blast but the naive could get ripped off by the locals or corrupt police. The biggest danger is those off their face drowning in the dark.

I've got to say, sounds like a lot of fun, would have been right up my street 25 years ago.

I wouldn't let my kids go though.

Hmmm... Me thinks that at some stage one has to possess the drugs in order to take the drugs...

Been there, saw the film , read the book, brought the T shirt, and stuck the poster on me wall...

Difference betwteen what theyrs doing there and what happened back in the day????

if my kids want to go on that kind of trip they' ll be a, paying for it themselves and b, not telling me their plans or i'd be shredding their passports..

My daughter (21) is planning to do the Full Moon Party soon - I'm really not happy and keep telling her that no matter how sensible she thinks she is, there are others who are intent on causing problems and spiking drinks etc....

I'm not against anyone having fun and know the kids like to drink but at $3 a BUCKET of alcohol, that is just inviting trouble.

Exactly, I couldn't believe this 'story' was the top article on news.com.au today?

Why? The parties have been going on for nearly 30 years...nothing's changed!

Quiet news day that's for sure!
