Think of the Labour Party: Things Can Only Get Better. In a year's time you will wonder what the problem was.

I hope you keep it up Cas.

It must be bloody hard both mentally and physically.

But I really hope you stick at it.

OMG wife is a research scientist into Asthmatic diseases - will have to keep the conversation away from smoking

Just kidding half her team were heavy smokers - talk about taking your job home

10 days good on ya - a friend recently gave up and suffered the headaches from hell - but rest assured they do pass as the toxins leave your body.

Replace them with Alcohol I say. PM us with your preferences otherwise its Vodka, Gin and Rum (Dark)

Kiwi

Thanks all

Odd thing is that for the first few days, I felt fine- it is now that I'm having cravings and crap feelings

Hope I don't have to wait a year to feel better !!

You must have been a long-term heavy smoker. It's the crap leaving your body and your metabolism trying to adjust. When I quit I seem to recall coughing up the rankest substances In a week or two your taste buds will start recovering and you're in for a treat, and possibly a weight gain then!

Keep at it Caroline. did you read "the Book'? If not then I suggest you do or if you did then read it again. when you get it there are no cravings (or none to really speak of), no weight gain (in fact lose) and a feeling of freedom.
