Well yeah, then they shouldn't complain if the umps get it wrong.

That's the whole point of using DRS.

I hate the influence that India has over the game and if nothing changes, this will eventually destroy it

Fair play to England for going for it and not sitting back for the draw - and well done to Pakistan for getting stuck in too!

This may turn out to be close.........

Also Australia v NZ coming up.

Dare I say but bowling wins tests and NZ might just have the attack to do it.

Playing with pink balls...

The first ever Day/night test.

Evolution of the Kookaburra pink ball for the first ever day-night cricket Test - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)

Why are they playing a day/night test?

Good question. So channel 9 can fill our evening viewing with more and more poorly constructed ads targeting the bogan?

State of the pitch in the NZ warm-up game was a sight to behold, match abandoned.

I hope the Kiwis get some decent practice in, I wanna see a contest at The Gabba not a procession.

I'll be there days 1 and 3 .... Glutton for punishment.

Not looking like much of a contest at present.

I'm pretty sure I saw an advertisement on channel 9 saying they had all these high resolution cameras and were going to be showing it on GEM HD. I can't find anything on GEM HD and Channel 9 is certainly not in HD.

Did anyone else see the ad?
