Yep, good comeback by Root in particular. No comments until both teams have both batted, don't think you'll get that somehow. Interesting 1st day so far.

It is and just what we wanted; ebbs and flows, fightbacks etc. I'm trying to watch Murray at Wimbledon and the cricket at the same time but well before bedtime here of course.

Does anybody have a decent live feed of the cricket? Been looking all over? It's obviously not on TV here in Canada unless you subscribe to a very specific channel.

Excellent day's play with England scoring at a good test match rate. Haddin's drop off Root 2nd ball cost 134 runs. Good recovery by England, sloppy dismissal by Buttler near the end made it about honours even overall/slight edge to England. It's very hard to watch 4 Wimbledon men's quarter finals and the test cricket.

Not sure. Hopefully some of our gurus will offer some insight.

I've never found a decent online source for live cricket

One area where traditional media outlets still have an advantage unfortunately

Same here, dodgy quality and pop up ads seem the norm.

I even saw one that had a loud ping each time the chat window updated.

Johnson's in the nervous 90's for 0 wickets. Real shame Harris got injured and Johnson didn't get to carry the drinks.

PITA

I prefer to watch cricket but listening on the radio is not bad too - BBC/ABC coverage is good and they have some decent presenters

It's annoying here in England with the full tv coverage being on Sky. The Ashes should be on free-to-air.

We get it on free to air, Channel 9. The ads are annoying but they've got to earn a crust

One good thing about living in Oz is that cricket is free.
