the booing the was very annoying and as you say pretty uncool, they should hang their heads in shame.
The English batsmen collectively look scared for some reason, it's quite odd for professional cricketers.
Archer though, he was playing some sweet sweet chin music and he ended up making Smith look as scared as the pond do. He might have a weak spot afterall, although to be fair if you throw something at me at 95mph, I'd shit myself too.

Don’t know if the batting is a hangover from shorter forms, the pitch seems a bit inconsistent which may not be helping.
Yeh, much talk of people quitting because of it in our comp but life (hopefully) goes on. I’ll buy one and keep playing. I’ve just worn one once on an absolute minefield, I guess I’ll adjust. I’ll still get bowled missing the straight one regardless of headgear.

At least one bookmaker has stopped taking bets for the BBC sports personality, and will be paying out to everyone who has bet on Ben Stokes as from today. All kudos to him, 75 out of a stand of 76, BUT there must be huge congratulation to Jack Leach who had to stay with him, not that easy when the Aussies were throwing everything at him when he had to face a ball.

Awesome finish. Who says test cricket is boring. Very tired today.
As I always say, bowlers win test matches and bowling short wide rubbish to a man in form, 1 of about 3 people who can bat against these bowlers from both sides, is going to be the marginal difference.
It would have been a shame to cut the series short at the 3rd test.

with anderson back and smith finding archer unplayable i stick by by scarred and scared, I would not be saying either except the aussies decided that that playing with their mouths suited them best. I wonder who they will drop for Smith? hardly going to be his replacement.
