Ive been watching both and neither have disappointed. I'd love to see the aus match end up a draw, the Indians deserve it I reckon, really showed their mettle.
quite funny seeing Root go from legend to bellend that quickly

I like Root but double century to silly run out for 1 is quite a come down. It's still funny, but i thought I'd use something more imaginative than hero to zero

Indeed. I'm no fan of India but they totally deserved to win that

They've changed - traditionally, they are not an aggressive cricket team. A few years ago they'd have settled for the draw. This is better

yes I was very pleasantly surprised to see them go for it, and in the end it looked fairly effortless for much of the time. Some very put out Aussies around which is always fun.

Yes, it's always a pleasure to see them lose! And when they're involved in a dramatic game, they tend to come up short

2 series in a row in Australia now for India - add to the 3 back to back series for SA here - unthinkable 10 years ago

India were outstanding. They got better under injury pressure as the series went on.

Some awesome youngsters coming through. Gill, Pant, Siraj, Washington. Exceptionally talented. Mentally tough.

Australia poor. Lacked 2 bowlers in Lyon and Starc when it mattered. Field placings at times, especially in the latest innings were a mystery at best. Paine gone. New beginnings.

In other news Jimmy Anderson’s knighthood has been held back because he might get picked on in The Ashes.

Just knight him. He can claim racism should he get picked on.

So, what's going on in Galle?

Looks like it's Joe Root vs Sri Lanka!

Yeah it is a bit, wouldn't bet on Root doing the same in the second innings, good job it doesn't look like he'll need to, yet.

T20 World Cup underway … shame the “bend the knee” BS has somehow persisted this far.

Big fan of Charles Leclerc in F1 here for his stance on the matter.
