Congrats- you must be over the Moon. It does take a lot of money to do it all but it is so worth it.

I sold everything, apart from House on ebay ! I even sold the house via the internet using House Simple. You pay a much reduced commission using them
We have only been here since August but already love it. I asked my son last night if he wanted to go back and he got quite upset at the thought of it. He has made loads of friends in a short time ( PLUS A GIRLFRIEND !!!)

i see a few of you are nurses at cairns base hospital, can you tell me how you got your jobs, did you apply directly to the hospital itself or through QLD health. I have already put in an expression of interest to QLD health stating i would like to work in Cairns but was wondering if i should contact the base hospital too. also do you knw if they are recruiting for either dialysis or ICu at the moment as these are my 2 specialities

OMG. I have just booked my one-way flight ticket. There really is no backing out now!!

I fly on 10th Feb. Soooo soon. What do i put in my suitcase? Besides "as much as possible!". :p

My 6yo daughter is currently wading in the road outside with an upside down umbrella floating with toys in - shoving it round and round the roundabout with a broom! So not far off an ark! She's having a whale ('scuse unintentional water-related pun) of a time!! :D

Actually it isn't usually as bad as this so what did you bring in your suitcase that upset the heavens ? ;)

I have two pairs of wellies - i was thinking of bringing a pair with me but do 'locals' actually wear wellies or do they just go out in their thongs aka flip flops?!

I'd hate to sacrafice some clothes to make room for the wellies only to find that id look a dork in wellies cause everyone else wore flippies. My aim in life is to blend in...!
