Nice to know there will always be another whinging Pom to take over from all the ones who leave Oz.

Hey... my cyberstalker is back :D

The Peak District.

Even retired nurses can have different sources of income ;)
You know....rich family...lottery win...who knows?

Does it bother you that much?

Never mind...I won't lose any sleep over it

Failed in the UK next stop Australia?

What do you mean by failed? I and quiet a few others have been successful and are moving to have a better life. We will not know if this will be true until we get there.
Others may not have been as successful but a least they have the balls to move to the other side of the world hoping for a better life.
Many of my friends/family cannot understand way we gave up everything here to move to oz, other's wish they could. So just because you could not settle it doesn't mean that others won't.
Oz is NOT UK and you need to adapt to there way of life, some do, some don't.
I think that some people are getting carried away with this post and getting too personal.
(unsubscribes from thread, logs off computer, cos I don't want to read this crap any more :D )

Why do people bother - it's a lifetime's drive from one dull city to another.. Highlights include, dust, one tree, more dust and KFC.

BTW, have you been formally introduced to Hutch? He's a failed journalist from the UK. His last badly-paid job was writing the Sunday Sports' philosopy column.

He now spends his days muttering in to a plastic bag and insisting he is interesting.

If it's not beyond you, try and rearrange the following words into a saying which you must hear all the time:

You....shoulder...massive...on..your...a..have...c hip.

Well done! You've qualified for an Oz residency visa.

Not seen you around lately...hope you are well and enjoying life. :)

Like old times really, although I was only around at the end of PB's era.

Nice to see some others back as well.

F U C K me. This is great. Good old PB and his sidekick Mike S back on the forum.
Now if only Arkon would participate. ( Opening another beer and making myself comfy. Buuuuurph. Cheers peeps   )

What the hell? Just found out that if you write f * c k it is automatically replaced with ****. How stupid is that??? Well I tricksted the system. Put some spaces in there :D

On another note, reading PB's replies here made me realise that I actually prefer Arkon. He is funny and has a lot of interesting stories. PB is just plain abusive and negative. Arkon actually reminds me of Dotty. Wonder how she is?
Anyway, Arkon please give me a funny goodnight story.
Cheers
