Do you compliment the jolly brown fellows (you mean immigrants presumably) on how well they are settling in these days. I am sure they are suitably appreciative. I thought this sort of attitude died with the Victorians....obviously a few back in dear old blighty are still aware of the white mans burden.

LMAO! Spot on. :D

Perth's too expensive, I'll never afford a house here. Second most expensive city after Sydney with the lowest wages bar Hobart. Perth might be nice but it aint Sydney.

I think anyone moving here right now needs to be a millionaire or needs their head examined. The main thing Perth had going for it - cheap houses, is a distant memory.

its got it all, it really has i'm not just saying that :)

i don't own my own home so i'm not sure how house prices compare with the rest of Aus,
i do know that house prices here have trebeled over the last few years, if your only into money and house prices then it may not be for you and i'd suggest going furthur north or west....but for lifestyle it seems to have everything :)
just ask me more specificly if you wanna know anything about anything :)

I did watch TV around 9pm last night , turned on to watch "3 men on a Boat " , British TV at its best , a wonderful trip up the Thames .
I am off to Amsterdam next weekend and a couple of weeks later going on a boat trip down the Nile .
Have been to Rohdes , Istanbul and Venice this year for Holidays , had weekends away in UK to Chester , Norwich , Cotswolds .
Never cannot find something to do , did find in OZ all the talk was of what was on TV or bloody AFL.
