Are you / Do you feel healthier in Australia?

For us it's been a bit of each.
The biggest problem for your weight is the hot weather.... why on earth would it be a problem you ask? You end up drinking heaps of sugary drinks if you're not careful, and hey presto on goes the weight! Eat and cook outside far more, and definitely are more conscious of our weight as we end up uncovered for more of the year! However winter in Adelaide at least is pretty cold, and for at least 4 months each year we still need the odd stew and don't spend as much time outdoors.
We certainly did more exercise last year than we ever had cos we had a pool. Really miss it, but don't miss the work involved. Got to get down to Glenelg for a dip... There is also the novel concept of it getting too hot to do much. Once it goes over 35 degrees its fine for chilling with a beer or sugary drink (weight on time) whilst when its 25 -30 degrees its great to be out and about doing things (weight off time).
I guess we travel more than we did in the UK, as there are wonderful space and places to go and it is really easy and much cheaper to access great areas
. Petrol is cheaper, and most places you go you don't have to pay to park. We also head off to Belair country park at times for a play around with some tennis rackets and to use the free outdoor barbies, which is something we would never have done in the UK.
Miss my morning walks with the smell or dew, or frost underfoot with the dog, though. Don't tend to do morning walks as much here, but that is probably due to different timetables.
We have also had far more opportunities in other areas of our lives, certainly my daughter has enveloped heaps of activities not all sports-related that again would not have happened in the UK due to the size of Adelaide allowing easy contact and networking.
Hope this helps!

Well I have to say I have never been sicker in my life
but that would have happened in the UK to, just happen to have happened here, and to be honest I think It would have taken much longer to find out in UK, mainly due to my working in the hospital here and it getting picked up inadvertently, totally unexpected. Up side is I am glad I was here cause I wouldnt have got visa otherwise. My treatment has been fab, all bulk billed, neuro appts, MRIs (several full brain and spine), ophthalmologist etc etc and results pretty much within 2 days (MRIs I get to take home that day, bloody heavy too, big brain
).
Normal everyday stuff like coughs and colds I never really got before and still dont, same for gastro bugs etc.
Tend to eat better but thats cause there isnt so much pre made stuff so make our own food from scratch and my hubby has discovered a love of cooking and I am embracing this.
Hubby has psoriasis which he has treatment for here all free and upto 3 times a week, free sunbed suntan all year round (strictly monitored) and he also has to take methatrixate. His treatment has been soooo much better than he received in UK.
I think if I hadnt have had the major health problem, life would have been much healthier for us, but thems the breaks.
