Its Darwin the rest of this week and NZ on Thursday. I think I'm going to stop watching it.
I entered the GMTV competition to win the Australia holiday with buisness class flights.

Do you think that the safe netted areas would keep them out? Just reminds me of the film Alligator.

Nope last time I was Sydney shopping never saw any but as long as you don't fell like skinny dipping up north you should be 50% fine.

I would think that they probably would keep them out. I have a bit of a phobia of crocs so a more southerly move is the only option for my family.

Regarding today's WDU, the wife had her heart so strongly set on moving to Aus that the hubby didn't really have a choice but to vote for moving. An interesting remark she made was "Divorced Down Under". With the stress and clashes of opionion between partners when planning and making the move, I imagine that outcome would be very common.

she did seem really keen, I don't know if I would have gone for it if everyone else had doubts, especially the husband who had higher earning potential. I wonder how their relationship will fair in the long term if they do decide to go for it, there is a risk of it causing resentments later on if the rest of the family have reservations. It must be a really difficult situation to be in, it was obviously a childhood dream for her but he seemed to have a really established buisness in the UK and you could see that was a worry for him. Best of luck to them if they decide to go for it.

Is there a Melbourne one this series at all I wonder? They seem to be showing the same places all the time All the episodes are the same apart from the families! Classic 'nuclear' family, one not sure, show's at least one UK flag, house gets valued less than what they expect, cost of living more than they thought, but they all raise OZ flags at the end!...ZZZZzz lets have some reality and variety please

It is reality. Anyone wanting to move to Oz is obviously delusional, didn't you know.

I have been told of for this before and I know the familes are probably reading this so I will try and be careful..................the EDITING in all series shows that people do not do their own research into the cost of living, houses (both getting a valuation on their own or the cost and what you get for the Australian ones) and don't think about their families/friends or the "lifestyle" they are leaving behind...................I am saying this as it is shown in everyone I have seen and as I can only go on this as I don;t know the families than to me it would put (at least some people) off going.

We've done South Africa - > UK x2, so not too far behind.

Now we're going to OZ. It better be permanent.
