God I'm bored. I just realised I have 2 assignments due for uni in the next 3 weeks :scared: I'm already bored of working so I thought I'd make a list of the peeps who have expressed an interest in coming along on Sunday.

Anyone one else, please just add your name or just come along. Rai - were you going to ask people to PM you for your mobile number just in case they can't find us?

Anyway, this is the list I think:

Raiinoz
Rudi and family
Swerv-o
Poppet and family
Elljay and family (if she's sorted her hair by then )
Wendymaisie and family
Mahairi and family (if they are back from they travels)
Alex Hall
KelnIan
Skywalker
Bindy and the birthday girl and family (if she can persuade her hubby)
Geordie George (if we look like an interesting bunch SHE may come out of retirement)
Chels?
Joho?

Just to remind people:

We are meeting at Bicentennial Park at the Sydney Olympic Park in Homebush on 10th September. The entrance is off Australia Avenue. We will meet somewhere near the playgrounds at midday.

Please bring chairs / picnic rugs etc as tables are limited.

Not sure how we are going to recognise each other yet - does anyone have a flag? I have a massive Ferrari one It's red with a black horse on

Look forwards to seeing / meeting you on Sunday

Rudi

I have a big red flag with a hammer, a sickle and a star on it, but I don't want to be accused of being a commie, so it's staying firmly in the box it came in...

Well, if the invite still stands, I often find myself at a loose end on a Tuesday evening...

EDIT: I've posted this in the Meet up Calendar: http://britishexpats.com/forum/calen...=2006-9-10&c=1

I'll be wearing my Party in the Park T-Shirt... appropriate I thought

Meeting Place. I think there is more than one playground. The easiest place to find is the playground just behind the cafe. It also means you don't have to trek too far for drinks and toilets and the kids have somewhere to play. We have a prior booking but if that goes pear shaped (it has been moved three times already!) the four of us hope to see you.

Hi Ian

Hope you guys can make it. Yep - just to confirm - it is the playground which is accessed off Australia Avenue (the other one is a different part of the park and is accessed separately - there is no cafe there).

I have found my Ferrari flag so failing a better offer I'll bring that along!

Just looked in to BE as I do from time to time and saw this post. Now usually on meet ups I am working (as nurses do on weekends) but had a look at the calander and thought gee I'm off on that day so if I can persuade OH and daughters to come then we might be there. The last (and first) time we were at a meet was a really great day, SOAPY you did us proud. Hope you can be there Ian12 would love to catch up with you and the guys again. Whatever the weather it should be a great day, hope we make it.

Great!! Look forwards to meeting you and the family.

So here is a revised list.....

Raiinoz
Rudi and family
Swerv-o
Poppet and family
Wendymaisie and family
Mahairi and family (if they are back from they travels)
Alex Hall
KelnIan
Skywalker
Geordie George (if we look like an interesting bunch SHE may come out of retirement)
Chels?
Joho?
Milo and family
Ian12 and family (if their other plans fall through)
Walaj and family

Bindy did not persuade her hubby and Elljay did not fix her hair, she spent the money on having the car washed instead so they are not coming.
