This Sydney meet seems to have run out of steam.
Have we actually suggested a time yet? How about midday? Does that suit everyone? It gives us single people a chance to shake off Saturday nights hangover, and also gives the families chance to get sorted out in the morning.
How does that sound?

A sydney meet up sounds a great idea. Although we have lived in Oz for over two years its great to meet new people.
We are free on that date so would love to come and join you, its me, my partner and our 3 year old son.

Everywhere I've tried to book for middle daughter's birthday party has been fully booked so far so you may see us at the meet yet. . . . Don't forget your party hats!!!
That'll teach me for leaving the arrangements so late!

Hi There
We have been in Sydney now for 2 weeks OMG its big! Not online much still in temp accomodation no internet access only internet cafes. Me my hubby and daughter 5 would love to meet up if thats ok. 10th September at 12 near the playground at the sydney olympic parkk homebush will have to check out my gregory. Will come online nearer the time to check details.
We have been wondering if there was a meet up, was worried that we had missed one.

We also have a regular monthly meet for "ladies". We meet up on the first Tuesday of each month. Some people bring children, some don't, but everyone is welcome. Next month (5th September) we are meeting at the Flying Fox park and Cafe in Mona Vale. We will meet around 10.30 - look out for a group of women with a copy of the Manly Daily newspaper on the table.
This is a link to the thread about it: http://britishexpats.com/forum/showt...48#post3837248
Hope you can make that one too. PM me if you need more details of how to find it.
See you all soon

Hi folks,
Thanks for keeping this going, I've been crazy busy with work and unable to stand to look at a PC screen when I get home. It looks like it should be a good turnout.
Looking forward to meeting you all.
Rai
EDIT: I've posted this in the Meet up Calendar: http://britishexpats.com/forum/calen...=2006-9-10&c=1
I'll be wearing my Party in the Park T-Shirt... appropriate I thought
