But slightly different to some suggestions that all drivers in Australia are the worst in the world.
Some other countries, including the UK have the rest of those worst drivers in the world.

Many drivers are actually OK, but one did raise my ire yesterday, and I decided to remove him from my path...

One of my best schadenfreude memories comes from driving in France.
I was tootling along at the speed limit (as those gendarmes like to nick anyone with a GB sticker) when this car comes up fast behind and overtakes just before the blind corner - as dictated by French road rules. By the time I get around the corner I see the car tumbling through a field of corn. It's amazing how many times a car will roll before it comes to a stop

Just to add. I did stop to help the guy. The car was lying on it's side. I asked if he was okay. I then asked again in French. He said he was okay whilst patting various parts of his body. I though he was checking for injuries until he went "Ah!" and grabbed a packet of fags from bottom of the car. By the time I got him out a couple of other cars had stopped and the blokes came over to help. They all then had a smoko in wafting distance of the smell of petrol. At this point I made my excuses and left.
Happy days.
Happy days.

Can I just add to this conversation. I'm an Auzzie trained driver and I had my 5 lessons before I passed my test and I think I'm fantastic at going forwards at great speeds

It gave me a very useful ticket which came in handy. I'm not complaining.
