The stupidity of drivers

Another thing is the way they'll swing off a main road (see above, same road...) into the side road you're leaving, cutting the corner almost 100% - no regard for anyone approaching from the side road. And then glare at you as they (hopefully) miss you.

So we're all agreed then, apart from Martin Luther and his horse-drawn carriage and BadgeIsBack's chauffeur driven BMW experiences that Australia has some of the worst drivers in the world?

"Multi Vehicle Accident Inbound On The Pacific Motorway At Gaza Road" ... it is this kind of Monday Commuter News that makes you realise that working a little closer to home is probably best for overall sanity.
Hmmm, job going at Loganholme, I think I might have some of that ...
I was stunned this morning after my marathon commute when a 4x4 tried to allow me into the car-park ahead of them, I insisted it was their right of way and they duely said thank you with a cheery wave and moved ahead.
Then I saw the sticker on the back and all was normal again ... "GB".

And I've always assumed that those drivers that actually do wave a thanks or give way are English

Yep its nearly always a multi-car accident, no doubt due to all that tailgating! I've been rear-ended ( no rude remarks please) at a roundabout due to the car behind driving too close! Don't know what he expected me to do other than stop as there was a car coming round the roundabout!

And the truck drivers ... sheesh, I used to have some respect for them in the UK but here it's Hell Drivers ...

It's bad enough in fine weather but add some rain and you might as well kiss the family goodbye when you leave the house

If you are into cheese then you will fit right in.
Any kind of late night snacking in fact.
More Pringles popped per capita than anywhere else in Oz.
ABCDiamond has the numbers, I'll leave him to flesh out the facts
