Thanks, I'll try anything, I doubt our local chemists will have any as I don't recon hardy ozzies suffer from it.

I'd like to know how you know? Is it the funny walk trying to keep your legs wide apart that gives it away? Or the weeping pustules that then result in a stain on your trousers whilst shopping in wollies?

My next idea was to wrap cling film around the tops of my legs and see if that keeps the friction down, failing that some anhydrous copper sulphate dowm me pants might do the trick.

Arkon you might want to try a product called Anti Friction Skin Formula by BodyGlide, I can't personally recommend it but I have a friend who is a long distance runner and that's what he uses.

http://www.bodyglide.com/skin/skin.html

Not sure if you would be able to source it locally but I found this website if you were interested.

Long, tight boxer shorts help Arkon. I also suffer from this, I saw something advertised on the TV recently, I'll see if I can remember what it was. When I was an infantryman in the SA Army, I used to get this really bad when we would do long range patrols in the bush, sometimes for up to a week. We used a nappy rash cream that I have not been able to find here. It really did the trick and we smelt like clean babies!

I find it strange how when you go in a shop the sales assistants ask 'how ya going' and then turn round and ignore you! It happens in every single shop!

Bepanthan is the only thing I would recommend. My sons had it for nappy rash and they use it now for sweat rash. Brisbane hospital gave us some.

Maybe Ozzie men don't get it cause they don't have big balls like Brits

LOL, big balls are the cause! There was me thinking it was all caused by doing hard work out in the heat. Thanks everyone for all the suggestions and you woman folk take it easy on your men as it is a very real problem. I wonder why woman don't get it as much?
