staff in a restaurant where i was repairing the oven
whats a mexican i asked ( didnt have a clue though i have heard it several times before )
victorians,
oldies from victoria they come up here every year in the winter to keep warm
there a f***kin nuisance
mmm nice customer skills i repied

Personally I think it's even more common place in London.... Certainly is/was (?) in South London, I mean towards people that are not from the area, especially Northerners and the Home Nations . Unless things have changed significantly since I left. ??? They used to give "heaps" to people from North of the River and East Enders.

I've been there and copped it..... every single visit. Mostly on arrival at rural pubs when they've seen my Vic Registered car.
The two worst places, were Goodawindi, and one suprisingly in NSW Port Macquarie.... I almost got in a fight with the PM one as my Son was with me and he was only 7 . It has never happened in Brisbane, or Sydney though.

I don't mind being called a mexican. Just a bit of harmless fun.
It's no different to calling Queenslanders, banana-benders which has got to be one of the best monikers around.
