Yes, we purposly went for the cheapest place we could get here, didn't want to use all our savings on rent

I'm just looking for houses now, definately want twice as much as what we have here

Mortgage advisor coming next week, I'm getting really excited

Geeeeez Wendy, its got some plants in it & the sunlight can get between the house & fence for more than 1/2 hr at midday, so what are you complaining about?

Incidentally its not the small sizes I have an issue with, its the housing sizes - too big - the community problems and the fact that in some outer burbs they do attract problem people. I was hearing complaints only last night.
Badge, yes the building size is what makes everything worse. I grew up on a 411sqm block of land, but our house was a small post war 3 bedroom one which left enough space at the front for a car to park & a backyard plenty big enough to run around & play & have a (small) pool etc. And both next door neighbours had 32 perch blocks, so they werent anywhere near our boundaries. But Sorley was a money grubbing bastard & how better to increase money but to effectively double the number of houses within the city council area?

As for the community problems & attracting the wrong people - I had better not comment because when I do, people get upset . But I do agree with you, totally - & the words "planned community" makes me shudder in fright :scared: .

You only need one the width of your shoulder plus a little bit each side if you get one of those ones with the jets that you swim against - see I have an answer for everything .

Slightly offtopic, but there is a house down the road from us that has a swimming pool the size of a shoebox :scared: , I kid you not, it is SUCH a small pool that when they were putting it in I was convinced it was a garden pond , would fit in your garden there no problems, the funny thing is that you would understand it if they lived on a block like yours, but this is on a 2.5 acre block :scared: , never can work that one out .

Well either, they couldn't afford a bigger one or they couldn't swim!

If those are the 2 options, Im more inclined to think the second , we're talking about a million dollar plus house, they landscaped the whole front yard around the pool, Im betting it cost them more than $20,000 just for the landscaping :scared: .
