I am getting a complex here... I have been sitting like an idiot in front of the PC saying saw and sore and soar and they all sound the same to me! I was brought up in Merseyside so although I don't have much of an accent I suppose some of it is coming through.
But for and four are definitely the same sounds, right? I mean in "BBC English" as I know some people pronounce four as fuwer and for as fer.
I do love dialects and accents, and love that people talk differently. But duh-boo still makes hubby and I roll about with laughter
its a gd job mi rittn english is so gd hey?
