Good luck KegR. Will look forward to hearing all about Sydney. We've not long sold our house, but are still waiting for our visa! We're really hoping to join you out there in Sydney in September/October. Any idea where you're heading for?
On the advice of family we're heading for Hornsby / Mount Kuring-Gai area. Although depending on jobs if the houses in the Penant Hills and other Hills aren't too on top of each other we may end up going there.

hi all, well i know it's the middle of the night in the uk but we have had our leaving party tonight and we are flying in the morning!!!!!!! i feel like an emotional wreck, the kids were all crying, we were crying, cant believe it's actually happening

thanks everyone for your replys, well we have arrived and oh my god it is all so surreal!!!! i mean i know it's not a holiday but it is a very wierd feeling 
been here 12 hours now and i just know i dont want to go back to the UK i just love australia
just got the jet lag to get over, 7pm in the evening and all we want to do is sleep!!

Well thanks everyone for the replies and a special good luck to Tubbs2Oz hope you get them visas. PSS have been today and collected everything and its blow up bed time for all of us. I no longer feel nervous as there has been so so much to do and its been stressful, tearful and very hot! We all think we will have a better tan than the Oz lot lol!
I suppose the next time i write on here we will be on the other side of the world.
Will be back though to let everyone know how our first week down under goes.
