Email is great but this bull has no place in a work place , the cost in wasted time is beyond its benefits.

I work (for now) in an office where 8 of the staff spend an hour each day doing a crossword - all doing the same one then comparing answers. 4 people spend a large amount of their time firing elastic bands at each other - and woe betide those of us who get in the way. We have people who print every single departmental email - with its list of 285 recipients! And one who uses a storeroom as a chapel - nothing against any religion, but he holds one-man prayer meetings there, with the door locked so we can't get him out even if we need him! Thats just the more sane employees.
Eat your heart out, fans of "The Office" - I work in it, and the boss is the same too.......
Makes a bit of posting on a forum seem tame really !
