Do you have any concept whatsoever of Australia's history?

Idea's tried and tested... you mean like Australia's democratic systems.. legal systems... and countless other systems based on the UK model?

Perhaps you haven't been here long enough to know but Australia has had proper democracy for ages while Britain is still ruled by Lords.

Basically, don't be an arse - get off your arse.

Wrong. Great-great-great-grand-father emigrated from Kent and alighted from the Royal Admiral on 1838/Jan/18 or so his tomb stone reads.

OK, I am confused now!
What exactly is your issue currently?
I thought that you were objecting to people coming over here & trying to impose their ideas.
Did I get that wrong or have you forgotten what you are supposed to be arguing about?

No such thing as "proper" democracy. We only get a poor version, same as any.

Farming actually. Versatile chap, got off his arse and made enough money from gold mining to buy freehold title to his farm which is still in the family.

Still waiting for an answer to my questionand if it would be possible to have it without mention of hubris or ethnocentric I'd be chuffed. Just think though, if great great great great great grandpa hadn't left the UK, Willback wouldn't exist. Fascinating really
